Ang Thong Archipelago
2 Days and Overnight Package
Hidden in the Gulf of Thailand, Ang Thong Marine National Park is a rare archipelago of 42 limestone islands, honored as one of Asia’s most beautiful marine national parks and recognized as an Asian natural heritage site. Not every island is open to visitors. Access is carefully limited to protect fragile ecosystems and ensure safety. Among these protected treasures, JC Tour curates a route through four standout islands. From the quiet curves of Kite Island, to Mae Ko Island, where a secret emerald lagoon lies hidden inside the land itself, each stop feels like stepping into a living painting shaped by wind, sea, and time.
The journey continues at Sam Sao Island, often described as a masterpiece of natural sculpture, where towering cliffs and rock arches frame turquoise water. Yet the true challenge of Ang Thong is not reaching it, but experiencing it fully. Most travelers come and go in a single day, rushing from viewpoint to viewpoint, watching the sun climb and fall from the deck of a boat. The beauty is there, but the time is not. Nature reveals little to those who hurry.
JC Tour’s answer is a 2-day, 1-night escape with an overnight stay on Wua Ta Lap Island. As the day-trippers leave, the islands grow quiet. You sleep surrounded by raw, untouched nature, wake to the sound of waves, and explore trails, beaches, and viewpoints without the pressure of the clock. This is Ang Thong unfiltered. Slower, deeper, and far more memorable. With JC Tour, the obstacle of limited time becomes the gateway to a richer connection with one of Asia’s most extraordinary seascapes.
We recommend reviewing the full itinerary and checking out some highlight photos from the trip before booking. If you'd like to speak directly with a real JC Tour staff member (not a bot), feel free to contact us anytime at 089-5727603, WhatsApp: +66 848053153, or Email: jctourthailand@gmail.com.

Island's mother Island
Known as Mother of Island, Mae Ko Island is one of the most iconic stops in Ang Thong Marine National Park. At first glance, the island welcomes you with a beautiful sandy beach, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or simply lying back and letting the sea breeze do the talking. But Mae Ko is more than a place to relax. It is an island that invites you to explore, to move, and to look closer.
There are two experiences here you simply should not miss. The first is the climb up a wooden staircase to three different viewpoints, each revealing a deeper perspective of the hidden emerald lagoon tucked inside the mountain at the heart of the island. The sight feels almost unreal, as if the sea has been carefully hidden away from the world. The second is a kayaking adventure along the opposite side of the island, where you paddle through sea caves and past dramatic limestone cliffs rising straight from the water. This is discovery travel at its best. Active, exciting, and filled with moments that make you feel like an explorer uncovering secrets shaped by nature itself.
Kite Island
The snorkeling highlight of an Ang Thong journey is Kite Island, a sheltered bay wrapped by dramatic limestone walls that create calm, clear water ideal for exploration. Beneath the surface, the sea comes alive with colorful schools of fish weaving through extensive hard coral reefs, making every moment in the water playful and immersive. And on very rare, lucky days, nature offers a true surprise. A sighting of a Bryde’s whale gliding through the area. This is never guaranteed and certainly not an everyday event, but when it happens, it becomes one of those once-in-a-lifetime memories that makes the experience at Ang Thong feel even more extraordinary.
Wua Ta Lap Island - Overnight amidst nature
On Wua Ta Lap Island, the first thing that captures your breath is the sweeping sandy beach stretching along the front of the island, met by crystal-clear turquoise water that feels almost unreal. Just beyond the shoreline, the land rises into untouched wilderness within the national park’s protected zone. Simple bungalows are tucked quietly into this raw landscape, offering the rare chance to sleep surrounded by nature rather than leave it behind. To the left of the beach begins the trail up to the world-class viewpoint known as Pha Chan Charat, a dramatic cliff where the islands unfold endlessly before your eyes. When you stay overnight, you can climb up at any hour, catching the light as it shifts from blazing afternoon to golden sunset.
On the opposite side of the island lies a different kind of adventure. A hiking trail that winds through dense forest, rich with sounds and shadows, leading deep into the heart of the island. The path eventually reveals a hidden destination: Bua Bok Cave, a secret chamber tucked inside the jungle itself. This is not a rushed excursion. It is a discovery made possible only for those who spend the night, with time on their side. As daylight softens and the island grows quiet, Wua Ta Lap transforms from a destination into an experience, rewarding those willing to slow down and explore what most travelers never see.
Sam Sao Island - Amazing thing.
Sam Sao Island carries a name that sounds like sadness, but its meaning could not be further from it. The word is a homophone only. Here, there is no sorrow at all. Instead, the island reveals a striking natural stone arch, a curved bridge of ancient rock reaching out to brace against two million-year-old limestone stacks. Together they form three connected pillars, standing strong against time and tide. This rare formation turns Sam Sao into one of those amazing places on Earth that feels almost impossible, as if nature paused mid-creation and left a masterpiece behind.
Directly across the water lies the soft, pale sand beach of Mae Ko Island, creating a stunning contrast of textures and colors. Sam Sao Island has nothing to do with sadness. The emotions it sparks are the complete opposite. Fun, excitement, surprise, awe, and the pure joy of being there. It is the kind of place where imagination runs freely and creativity stretches far beyond the horizon. We stop here to explore, to wander, and to capture photographs that preserve not just the view, but the feeling of standing in front of something truly unforgettable.
